  • Scholarship Description
  • This program recognizes the hardships imposed on individuals who are working and attending school to attain an undergraduate or graduate degree, or professional certification. These awards are made to individuals who have taken the initiative to reach a specific goal and have demonstrated a commitment to that goal. Up to four (4) awards of up to $1,000 each will be awarded and recipients may re-apply the following year. Awards are made for tuition and/or actual school expenses. Applicants must be legal residents of and/or work in Bernalillo, Sandoval, Valencia or Torrance and work a minimum of 20 hrs/wk during the year.
