The USC School of Cinematic Arts offers scholarships and financial aid to help undergraduate and graduate students pay for their cost of education. All applicants are encouraged to apply for SCA scholarships as a part of the Slide Room application for admission. Information provided for the scholarship application has no impact on admission consideration and is reviewed by a separate committee. In order to be considered for SCA scholarships, domestic students are required to apply for Financial Aid at USC. Deadlines will vary, depdending on whether the applicant is a prospective first-year undergraduate, continuting undergraduate/prospective transfer student, or an incoming/continuing graduate student.
SCA scholarships are reserved specifically for students that qualify based on their merit, financial need, or a combination of the two. Awards are also available for students based on field of study, career interest, members of underrepresented group, or country or origin. In general, SCA awards are modest in amount and can range from $1,000 to $25,000. Both domestic and international students are eligible to apply.
