Since 2019, we've awarded over $100,000 in scholarships to more than 70 deserving individuals through our PM Legacy Scholarship and PM Employee Scholarship Programs. Through our Legacy Scholarship, we will award $2000 to up to 50 students this year.
Eligibility
- Resident of or attending college in Pennsylvania, Georgia or Washington D.C. Metro area
- Entering or enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Must have an official letter of acceptance from the college or university they are/will be attending
- Majoring in Human Services, such as Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, Nursing, Home Health, Public Health or similar
- 2.5 or higher GPA
Application Requirements
- Copy of final high school or last semester of college transcript
- 500-1,000 word essay on the prompt "My Impact on Humanity", describing how you will use your Human Services degree to impact humanity. Typed, double-spaced and submitted as a PDF
- Two formal letters of recommendation with contact information in PDF format or Word document
- Recent headshot (for promotional purposes)
- Email address and phone number for your school Bursar/Financial Aid office
- Certify whether the college/universtiy you will be attending is considered an HBCU
- Provide program of study and specify the degree level pursuing
Recently, we introduced our Equitable Minds initiative to bridge the gap in communities of color and empower the next generation of culturally competent mental health professionals with shared lived experiences. Human Services students at any Historically Black Colleges and Universities are eligible to apply.
