LogicMonitor seeks to increase the percentage of women in the STEM workforce, and they are announcing a scholarship for women pursuing careers in STEM. Three recipients will be awarded a $6000 scholarship for the upcoming school year, starting in the fall semester. As long as they are attending a US-based school, international students are also welcome to apply. Currently, women compose less than 30% of the science and engineering workforce.
To be eligible for the Women in STEM Scholarship, applicants must: identify as a woman; have completed at least one year of college prior to the upcoming fall; be pursuing an undergraduate degree (associates or bachelors) in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics; and be enrolled in an accredited 2 or 4 year college/university in the United States for the upcoming school year when the scholarship is awarded.
