- Scholarship Description
This is a $1,000 scholarship awarded to a student aspiring to pursue a post-graduate degree in cardiology. This scholarship is based on Financial Need and Academic Merit. The applicant t must be a U.S. Citizen who is an incoming or current graduate student pursuing a postgraduate degree in cardiology at an accredited graduate college for the school year the scholarship is awarded and must have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or above (please submit a certified copy of the most recent academic comprehensive transcript).
Applicant must be a child of a Single Mother. Mother can be divorced, widowed, or unwed (please provide a copy of the mother's Federal Income Tax Return). Applicant must have a signed letter of recommendation and must compose and submit a 500-word essay stating their academic and career goals and how these goals will make a positive contribution to the community.
Failure to meet all of these requirements will result in an incomplete packet that will not be considered. After the selection is made, all application contents will be wiped and deleted from the computer. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
