Elms College is a modern part of a living tradition established over 300 years ago by the Sisters of St. Joseph — a bold group of devout, progressive changemakers. We are dedicated to providing a rigorous education animated by a community where all are welcome. Elms is a private college that strives to be accessible to all. We believe education is not an end in itself, but a path to discovering what we can each contribute to that world, our neighborhood, and one another. More than 95% of our students receive some form of financial aid.
The Elms College ElmSTEMs program, supported by a grant from the National Science Foundation, provides scholarships and programming to students who major in STEM fields and attend Elms College. Students in the majors Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Computer Information Technology and Security, Chemistry, or Mathematics and who have financial need are invited to apply to the ElmSTEMs scholarship program. Eligible applicants must: be a prospective first year student or transfer student at Elms College with at least 60 credits and less than 90 credits; be a citizen or national of the United States, alien admitted as refugee, or alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence; and demonstrate financial need.
