The Women at Microsoft Scholarship is dedicated to supporting high school senior women and non-binary individuals who are targeting a career in STEAM fields.
Scholarship Details
- Awards range up to $5,000, available as one-time or renewable for up to four years.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a graduating high school senior who identifies as a woman and/or non-binary.
- Intending to pursue a career in STEAM fields or showing a strong passion for technology.
- Planning to attend an accredited 2-4 year college or university in the U.S. or a U.S. affiliate program.
- Must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Application Process
- Apply during the scholarship cycle: January 22 to March 13
- Submit the required documents including academic record, leadership evidence, work experience, educational and career goals statement, information on personal or family circumstances, and an online recommendation.
The scholarship is open to diverse applicants with a focus on women and non-binary individuals pursuing STEAM careers. Selection is based on financial need, academic achievement, and passion for technology. Note that applications must be submitted online and no emailed or mailed applications will be accepted.
