  • The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate Office of University Programs sponsors the DHS Summer Research Team Program for Minority Serving Institutions to provide faculty and student research teams with the opportunity to conduct research at the university-based DHS Centers of Excellence. Applicants must be at an eligible MSI at the time of application, be a U.S. citizen, and have coverage under a health insurance plan before arriving. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, be majoring in an academic discipline related to a DHS Research Area, and be a full-time student.
