The Achieve Atlanta Scholarship is a need-based award designed to support Atlanta Public Schools students pursuing various postsecondary paths after high school. To be eligible, applicants must: be a current high school senior; complete a current FAFSA form; demonstrate financial need; have a 2.5 GPA; and be enrolled full-time at an accredited, nonprofit private or public college or technical program in Georgia.
After submitting the application, applicants will receive and email within two weeks providing an update. If the applicant is offered this scholarship, they must complete the Fall Update Application (which they will receive in mid-June), which will require them to upload an acceptance letter or their course schedule. After completing the Fall Update Application, applicants will receive their scholarship check. Achieve Atlanta will mail a check to the college’s financial aid office. The financial aid office will then place the funds on the student account.
