Eligibility Criteria
- Academic Standing: Current high school seniors planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate program
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Field of Study: Open to students pursuing degrees related to the dental profession
- Citizenship: U.S. citizens or legal residents
- Financial Need: Demonstration of financial need; FAFSA may be required
Application Process
- Complete the official scholarship application form
- Provide a copy of your most recent academic transcript (unofficial transcripts accepted if verified by the school)
- Submit two letters of recommendation from teachers, counselors, or other relevant individuals
- Compose a personal statement (max 750 words or a 3-minute video) detailing your educational and career goals, why you deserve the scholarship, and how it aligns with your aspirations
- Include a current resume highlighting academic achievements, extracurricular activities, community service, and relevant experiences
- If awarded, provide proof of acceptance (or pending acceptance) into an accredited undergraduate program
- Preference may be given to applicants with a demonstrated commitment to community service or extracurricular involvement, especially those who have attended Foundation-hosted events
- Submission Deadline: All application materials must be submitted by March 1st (Late submissions will not be considered)
Notification: Scholarship recipients will be notified by April 30th. Non-recipients will also be notified; Scholarship recipients will be invited to and recognized at The Golden Foundation's Scholarship in May.
