The Jared E. Banta Scholarship is offered to graduating seniors at Western Hills High School in Frankfort. Eligible candidates must be involved in sports and/or the arts; have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0; demonstrate financial need; and plan to attend a two- or four-year accredited college or university, with preference given to students who plan to attend college in Kentucky or Ohio. Applications run from early November until the due date, and award notifications are sent in May.
