The Baptist General Convention of Texas (also known as BGCT or Texas Baptists) provides generous support for theological education through funds given cooperatively by churches and individuals across the state. BGCT Ministerial Financial Assistance is for students who demonstrate a call to ministry and are preparing for ministry through enrollment as an undergraduate student at Hardin-Simmons University. Applicants must exhibit a personal call to vocational ministry and be an active member of a Baptist church. This is offered twice a year, so due dates will also vary.
