Scholarship Description
The Vietnamese Physician Association of Northern California (VPANC) is pleased to announce the 28th Annual Scholarship Awards Program for outstanding Vietnamese high school seniors. Each award given will be $2,000. We encourage all Vietnamese students meeting the requirements to apply.
To qualify, applicants must: Be of Vietnamese descent; Be a high school senior currently living in Northern California; Be attending college in the coming summer or fall; and Have an unweighted GPA of 3.6 or greater. Applicant must submit the following documents: A completed three-page application; An official high school transcript; A copy of their official SAT or ACT scores (optional); Two letters of recommendation from teachers, advisors or mentors who are familiar with the applicant's academic work and other attributes; and A copy of parents' most recent income tax return or other means of determining their family's income.
