Scholarship Details
- Four-year scholarship with $3,000 awarded annually
- Supports tuition and housing at accredited two- or four-year colleges or universities
- Established in 1998 by Wayne Reynolds, benefiting junior golfers in Georgia
- Awarded based on merit, financial need, and personal character
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate of a public or private Georgia high school and legal resident of Georgia
- Accepted as a full-time student at an accredited two- or four-year college or university
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and ACT/SAT score at or above the national average
- Participation in an organized junior golf program in Georgia
- Demonstrates financial need and exemplary personal character
- Registered with Selective Service, if required
- Relatives of Scholarship Committee members are not eligible
Application Process
- Complete the scholarship application form
- Submit the following materials:
- Proof of GPA and ACT/SAT scores
- Evidence of participation in a junior golf program
- Financial aid documentation
- A written statement of personal goals
- References
- If selected as a finalist, attend an interview with the Scholarship Committee
- Ensure all application materials are postmarked by February 28
