• Scholarship Description
• In 1987, members of the business community identified the need to provide homework assistance for low-performing students. Partnering with the school district and the Lake County Education Foundation the founders formed a 501(c)(3) called Dial-A-Teacher. In 1988 the name was changed from Dial-A-Teacher to the Education Foundation of Lake County, Inc. We are a member of the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations.

  The Edmond Amateis Foundation has scholarship funds, in the amount of $1,500, available for local students with financial need, as determined by income eligibility guidelines as established by USDA for reduced lunch. Students must be residents of Lake County, FL, as well as be high school seniors. For more information on this award or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
