The D91 Education Foundation is pleased to present the Heart of D91 Go On Award to help D91 graduates and former D91 graduates pursue their educational goals after high school. To qualify for the awards, students must: be on track to graduate from one of D91's four high schools or a former graduate currently pursuing some kind of post high school education; and have at least a GPA of a 2.5.
The award can be used to pay for training, career certifications, apprenticeships, community college or technical school courses or college or university classes. Besides completing the application, applicants must also submit a resume, and they must prepare for a short 5-question in-person interview. (Interviews are tentatively scheduled for late April/early May.). Awards will be paid directly to the training program, college or university. Award recipients must use the award within four years. If the monies are not used within four years of the award date, the funds will be forfeited and returned to the D91 Ed Foundation.
