The NOHO Pride Scholarship is open to high school seniors in Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire and Berkshire counties in Massachusetts who are able to demonstrate financial need. The winner of the scholarship will receive $500 paid directly to the college or university of choice prior to the beginning of the fall semester of the year the scholarship is awarded. Only the winner will be notified. The winner’s name will also be posted on the Noho Pride website no later than July 1st.
The scholarship application will ask for basic information, an agreement/signature and a written portion (Compose an essay describing how you plan to be a positive role model in the LGBT community. Use 8½ by 11 inch paper and double-space your essay. The essay should not exceed 500 words). The Noho Pride team is comprised of those who are passionate about creating positive change in the LGBTQIA+ community.
