The Balanced Man Scholarship is a scholarship offered to all male incoming freshmen at Ohio State who strive to embody Sigma Phi Epsilon's core values of Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love. We seek to award scholarships to the most high-achieving freshmen who match these values and will make an impact at Ohio State.
SigEp is a national undergraduate fraternity that will award over $300,000 at over 160 campuses across the country during the current academic year. Our mission, “Building Balanced Men”, correlates directly with the Balanced Man Scholarship, as it rewards men who exemplify the qualities of a Sound Mind, Sound Body—what we believe are the two ideals essential to leading a balanced life.
Additionally, all BMS applicants are invited to be a part of the Balanced Leadership Success Series, which includes events such as professional development events, guest speakers, and interactive events with active brothers. To qualify for the Balanced Man Scholarship, incoming students must apply online by September 14th, and enroll full-time at The Ohio State University for the coming/current Autumn and Spring terms.
