The TBN Scholarship Fund (TBNSF), which was established in 2021, was founded on the belief that education is the birthright for all, and any individual that wishes to pursue a higher education should have the opportunity to do so. By removing some of the financial burdens associated with going to, surviving in, and graduating from college, the TBNSF plays a vital role in increasing college access and success for many motivated youth.
The TBNSF provides individual grants, paid directly either to the educational institution or recipient. The grant can be used to cover tuition expenses and related supplemental educational expenses such as books, lab fees, travel and select costs of living. Qualifications: High School Senior; Black/African-American scholar; US Citizen or Permanent Resident, currently residing in the Bay Area; Minimum 2.5 GPA; Official Transcript; Proof of enrollment from an accredited institution, vocational or trade school for the current/coming academic year.
