The UNCF Montgomery County Scholarship is open to current high school seniors who are permanent residents of Montgomery County, OH and who are planning to attend any accredited two or four year college or university in the United States. To be eligible for the UNCF Montgomery County Scholarship, applicants must have at least a GPA of a 2.5, and have demonstrated unmet financial need verified by the college/university.
In addition to completing the application, applicants must also complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach, mentor, or other leader. Since 1944, UNCF - the United Negro College Fund - has helped more than half a million young men and women graduate from college across the United States. Throughout their generosity, they offer numerous scholarships to students all over the country.
