  • Undergraduate students enrolled in colleges and universities in the United States with recognized engineering department programs at the time the application is submitted for this scholarship. Each potential candidate for this award must show their anticipated graduation date to be later that the date the award funds are to be distributed. Each potential candidate must also show an active interest in the field of nondestructive testing and evaluation.

    Students applying for the scholarship must submit a completed application form, signed by applicant and school official, an outline of student’s program of study, an official school transcripts showing all completed coursework and three (3) individual letters of recommendation. Applicants must also supply an original essay describing how he/she envisions the role of NDT/NDE in his/her career. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.

I received my AA degree on Civil Engineering here in American Samoa Community College and currently working as an engineer here at Public Works in the Civil Highway Division and would love to continue education. The sad thing is, my family isn't financially stable to send me off to college to resume education so that is like my main reason for applying and also because it is my dream to be a professional engineer and be able to give back to my community.

I am a Senior of Parker High School in Birmingham, Al. I have manage to finish high school with my mother being in the nursing home since I was in the third grade. She is my best friend that can't respond only with eye contact only. I promise her I would do what she did, finish high school and go to college and get a degree. With the help of God and friend along the way I will finish. I will need a little financial help along but with God on my side nothing is impossible.
