Scholarship Description

The Engebretson Foundation Scholarship supports high-achieving high school seniors who demonstrate financial need and academic excellence. This prestigious award provides $10,000 per semester for one year to help offset the cost of attending a four-year college.

Scholarship Details

  • One-year scholarship
  • Open to high school seniors graduating from a U.S. high school
  • Must be planning to attend a four-year college

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a graduating high school senior in the United States
  • Must demonstrate financial need
  • Minimum 28 ACT composite or 1240 SAT score
  • Minimum 3.75 GPA

Application Process

  1. Take the ACT or SAT and obtain qualifying scores
  2. Achieve a qualifying GPA or class rank
  3. File the FAFSA and receive your Student Aid Report including the Student Aid Index (SAI)
  4. Prepare and complete the scholarship application form provided by the Engebretson Foundation
  5. Submit your full application with all required documentation by the stated deadline
