Education is vital to the growth and future of every community. Because of this, the Saginaw Community Foundation administers a variety of scholarship programs for high school, community college, university and vocational students. Since awarding our first $500 scholarship in 1987, the Saginaw Community Foundation has awarded more than $8 million in scholarships. To be eligible for the Meyer-Simon Latin Scholarship, applicants must: demonstrate financial need; be a graduating high school senior from Heritage High School; be enrolled as an undergraduate full-time; have a 2.5 GPA; and must have successfully completed Latin at Heritage High School and will major in a degree program that requires at least one college level Latin class be completed. Dollar amounts for this scholarship will vary.
