The Lacek Group LLC, headquartered in Minneapolis and known for its leadership in loyalty, customer engagement, and data-driven communications, is excited to offer two $5,000 scholarships for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) students. This opportunity is open to one high school senior and one college student, aiming to support their studies in fields such as marketing, communications, business, finance, creative arts, analytics, or computer science. This initiative reflects our commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in our community and workforce. Applicants must be Minnesota residents, with the possibility of attending college in either Minnesota or Wisconsin.
Scholarship Details
- Two scholarships of $5,000 each available.
- Open to BIPOC high school seniors and college students.
- Fields of study: Marketing, communications, business, finance, creative arts, analytics, or computer science.
- Applicants must be residents of Minnesota, attending or planning to attend college in Minnesota or Wisconsin.
Eligibility Criteria
- Identify as Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color (BIPOC).
- Resident of Minnesota.
- Enrolled or planning to enroll full-time (12 credits or more) at a college, university, or accredited arts school.
- Pursuing a major in areas such as computer programming, creative arts, data/statistics, marketing, business, communications, or program/project management.
- In good academic standing with a listed current GPA.
Application Process

- Prepare application, including academic records and a statement of major.
- Submit application by April 15.
- Stay reachable for potential interviews, with finalists contacted by The Lacek Group.
- Recipients to be selected and notified by June 28.
Who Should Apply
