The Antioch Garden Club is offering up to $1,000 scholarship to students majoring in Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Design, Botany, Plant Pathology, Forestry, Agronomy, Environmental Concerns, City Planning, Land Management and/or allied fields of study.
Scholarship Details
- Open to students in various horticulture and allied fields
- Supports high school seniors, current college students or returning adult students
Eligibility Criteria
- Residents of Antioch Township or neighboring communities
- High school senior, undergraduate, or returning adult student
- Majors in Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Design, Botany, and related fields
Application Process
- Complete the scholarship application
- Submit a recommendation letter from a non-relative source
- Attach an official transcript
- Compose a personal statement essay (500 words or less) on your background, future goals, and commitment to your chosen career
- Typed or computer-generated essay using 12-point double-spaced type
This scholarship named after Nancy Zitkus, who is a founding member of AGC and a dedicated former treasurer of the club.
