Great Lakes Safety Training Scholarship was established to benefit individuals who are pursuing a career in the trades or construction with an emphasis on safety. The fund will provide an annual scholarship award to a resident of Gratiot or Saginaw County who is pursuing a degree or certification in trades, construction, manufacturing, or engineering with an interest in safety at a college, university, or licensed vocational/technical school. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and must complete an essay on why this field of study was chosen, and how safety has impacted or can impact your life.
