Education is vital to the growth and future of every community. Because of this, the Saginaw Community Foundation administers a variety of scholarship programs for high school, community college, university and vocational students. Since awarding our first $500 scholarship in 1987, the Saginaw Community Foundation has awarded more than $8 million in scholarships. To be eligible for the John and Florence Goll Scholarship, applicants must: be a resident of the Great Lakes Bay Region; be a member of or demonstrated connection to First Congregational Church in Saginaw; be pursuing an undergraduate degree or Career and Technical Education (CTE) training (skilled trade/vocation); have a GPA of 2.5; and demonstrate financial need. Dollar amounts for this scholarship will vary.
