The Juice Products Association (JPA) Scholarship Foundation was established in 1993. Since then, the Foundation has provided over $300,000 in the form of over 200 scholarships. Thanks to the generosity of JPA members, the Foundation has been able to grow over the years, increasing the number of scholarships given and the amount of each award. The JPA Scholarship Foundation currently awards 13 scholarships across eight colleges and universities in the U.S. with leading food science, nutrition and/or packaging programs, to upper-class undergraduate or graduate students who demonstrate a keen interest in the industry.
The schools that offer JPA Scholarships are: California State University - Fresno, California State Polytechnic University - Pomona, Cornell University, Florida Southern College, Michigan State University, Oregon State University, University of Florida (3 awards) and University of Maryland. The number of awards and the criterial for each scholarship may vary from school to school, although the majors will remain the same.
