The NFP’s Alyssa C. Rudy Scholarship provides scholarships to York College of Pennsylvania students demonstrating financial need in the pursuit of a nursing degree. Complete information regarding NFP scholarships can be found at our website under the “Scholarships” tab. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Dollar amounts will vary.
Applicant must currently be full-time nursing students (including incoming freshmen) in an accredited BSN, MSN, or doctoral program at York College of Pennsylvania. Membership in the Student Nurses Association of Pennsylvania (SNAP) and/or the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA) is highly recommended for those applicants who are currently enrolled in nursing pre-licensure programs. Member in the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association (PSNA) is required for applicants who are currently RNs. Applicants are required to attest to their financial need by providing information about all federal and state grant(s) and loan(s), as well as any formal documentation which demonstrates need (for example, a letter from the financial aid office regarding work-study).
