Scholarship Description

Oregon Human Development Corporation (OHDC) is a nonprofit human service organization that has been providing workforce development and associated services for farmworkers and disadvantaged individuals throughout Oregon continuously since 1979. These services include support, referral, advocacy, resources, assistance and education. These programs are funded through a variety of contracts with federal, state, local, and private funding sources.

The OHDC NFJP Youth program supports students with financial assistance with tuition/books. In addition, we help with resume preparation, interview preparation for college/career, counseling guidance support, and more. Enrolled students are also eligible for other OHDC program services free of charge. You are not required to submit GPA, essay, or current test scores to apply. Applicants must be an eligible farmworker, or dependent or the spouse of a farmworker and be between the ages of 16-24. Must have authorization to work in the United States and meet low-income requirements. Other requirements may apply.
