Numerix is proud to continue the legacy of supporting talented women in the capital markets through the annual Women in Finance Scholarship opportunity. Originating from FINCAD in 2014, this scholarship has been sustained by Numerix after its acquisition of FINCAD in April 2023.
About the Scholarship:
The Women in Finance Scholarship is designed to encourage and empower talented women in the field of finance. It particularly focuses on those aspiring to pursue careers in financial asset management, market risk management, and derivatives finance within the dynamic landscape of capital markets.
Scholarship Award:
• An annual award of U.S. $20,000 is presented to one deserving woman to assist in supporting her graduate-level studies in Finance.
• The award is distributed with 50% directly benefiting the recipient and the remaining 50% directly contributing to tuition at the educational institution.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
• Be enrolled and attending a Master's or PhD Finance program on a full-time basis.
• Have less than 10 years of total work experience, with less than 5 years of professional experience in the financial field.
• Be a female citizen of any country who is enrolled in a post-graduate program in Finance at an accredited university.
