CustomCook Inc. is offering a $2,000 scholarship. This scholarship is to be awarded to the student that designs and implements the most successful social media post promoting a single location restaurant, ghost kitchen or freelance chef. The goal is to make the invisible visible. Students can choose to promote any, single location restaurant, ghost kitchen or free-lance chef. We stipulate that the business must be fully licensed, conform to local health codes and legally operate within the United States. The student should have the permission and cooperation of the business.
Student posts should demonstrate resourcefulness and should rely on existing equipment, social media accounts, subscriptions, technology and donations. Students should not spend personal money on advertising or material. There is no limit to the number of submissions a student can make. However, each submission should focus on a new business. To be considered, a student must be currently enrolled in an accredited school, legitimate trade school or participating in an accredited home school program. Submissions will be judged on the following criteria: Number of digital views generated within a two-week window; Impact Essay; Demonstration of Resourcefulness.
