The Justin Troy Page Scholarship honors the memory and spirit of Justin Troy Page, a young man who, despite his struggle with Type 1 Diabetes, pursued a career in biopharmaceuticals with determination and courage. This scholarship aims to support other Type 1 diabetic students in North Carolina, helping them to continue their education and achieve their goals. It reflects Justin's own aspirations to contribute to the understanding and potential eradication of this disease.
Scholarship Details
- Awards scholarships of $1,500
- Established as a 501(c)3 organization, with all donations being tax-deductible and used entirely for scholarships
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a Type 1 diabetic student
- Resident of North Carolina
- Enrolled in an accredited college or university in North Carolina
Application Process
- Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria of being a Type 1 diabetic student residing in North Carolina
- Apply for the scholarship by April 19th, for the coming academic year
Six scholarships in the amount of $1500 will be awarded to T1 diabetic students attending accredited colleges/universities in North Carolina. Eligibility will be based on the student being T1 diabetic and a short essay.
