I am applying for this scholarship because I have terrible osteoarthrosis in both of my knees. Back in the beginning of 2016 I was a pedestrian crossing the road and a car had struck me going 40mph. I had broken both femurs and left tibia resulting in titanium rods in all parts. From the surgeries it wore down a lot of the bone and cartilage in my knees. I have had a lot of support from friends and family over the years but getting scholarships to help put me thru college to make a good life for myself and for my family is all I want at the end of the day.

I am applying for this scholarship because I have really bad arthritis in my spine. I had a terrible accident in 2017 and I fractured my spine in two places in the Lumbar section. I underwent multiple injections and the cold doesn't help my spine much. My family has been very supportive of me and hoping I get scholarships to pay for college, since my medical bills were so much in the past. It would mean a lot if I get this scholarship so I can make them proud!
