  • Five hundred scholarship grants, each for $2,000, will be awarded for the academic school year. There is at least one recipient selected at every commissary location where qualified applications are received. Additional recipients are chosen on a prorated basis. Therefore, more applicants may be selected from those commissaries with more significant numbers of applicants.

    Only students with valid U.S. Uniformed Services Identification and Privilege Card may apply for a scholarship. In addition, a student's parent(s) must be one of the following: active duty, reserve/guard, deceased, or retired from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, or Space Force. students that possess a valid U.S. Uniformed Services Identification and Privilege Card may apply for a scholarship. In addition, a student's parent(s) must be one of the following: active duty, reserve/guard, deceased, or retired from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, or Space Force. Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate program leading to a bachelor’s degree or a community/junior college designed to allow for a direct transfer into a four-year program.

my Father was in the air force for 8 years, I am wanting to become a P.O. in the Air Force. I will be able to go to college and get an associates degree in police science. this scholarship will help me pay off some of the burdon of my future education off of my shoulders.

My father served in the Air Force for 22 years and is now retired. I have followed his footsteps and I am currently 2 years into my own service and I am enrolled at University of Maryland Global Campus for a Bachelors degree. If I am eligible still I would like to apply for this scholarship.

My father is a retired Navy Combat Veteran who was in Desert Shield/Storm, Enduring Freedom, Noble Eagle and Global War on Terror. He retired in 2010 and I am so proud of him and all who have served and are serving.
