The Jorge Mas Canosa Freedom Foundation: Mas Family Scholarships will accept applications from October 15 until January 15. We invite all eligible candidates to apply for this prestigious opportunity to receive financial assistance in achieving their higher education goals.
Eligibility
- Students are eligible to apply for a Mas Family Scholarship if they were born in Cuba or are of direct Cuban descent.
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Applicants should demonstrate leadership potential and involvement in community service activities.
- While not the primary consideration, financial need will be considered during the selection process.
Scholarship Award
Scholarship awards vary based on financial need. The financial need is determined by a specific formula that determines the applicant and their family's financial situation in terms of how much they can contribute. Mas Family Scholars may receive a scholarship for up to four years of college.
Continue Eligibility
Mas Family Scholars must enroll full-time in an accredited college or university while pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. Scholars must maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher.
