Our mission is to lead the fight for the health of all moms and babies. Our goals are to end the preventable maternal health risks and deaths, end preventable preterm birth and infant death, and close the health equity gap. March of Dimes believes in a world where every mom and baby is healthy regardless of wealth, race, gender or geography. Through research, programs and advocacy, our supporters enable us to be there for parents throughout their pregnancies.
To recognize and promote excellence in nursing care of mothers and babies, the March of Dimes offers several scholarships annually to registered nurses enrolled in graduate programs of maternal-child nursing. To be eligible, applicants must: be a registered nurse; be currently enrolled in graduate education with a focus on maternal-child nursing at the master's or doctorate level; and must have at least one academic term to complete after August of the year in which the scholarship is awarded.
