The University of Montana Western offers numerous scholarships. We have one application for all scholarships. The priority deadline is in January, though actual due dates are much later. The Helm Memorial Scholarship is offered to UMW students who have declared English as their major or minor. Returning students are eligible. It was established by a well-respected former English professor at UMW. There is not a speicifed deadline, but the priority due date is February 1st. Award amounts will vary.

The University of Montana Western Foundation is a non-profit, public 501 (c)(3) organization that advances the mission of the University of Montana Western by seeking and securing private support for its programs in service to students and society.
