To qualify for the Korean American Scholarship - Western Regional Chapter, students must be of Korean heritage studying in the United States, regardless of citizenship status (including Korean Nationals). Full-time enrollment at a school in one of the designated Southwestern region states (Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington) is required.
