Hilco Redevelopment Partners (HRP) is thrilled to announce the opening of its annual scholarship program. Provided by HRP, two $5,000 scholarships will be awarded again this year to residents within the Little Village neighborhood in Chicago (ZIP codes 60623 and 60608) for the coming academic year.
As long as scholars maintain enrollment, they will receive an additional $5,000 scholarship for the following academic year.
Eligibility
- Open to high school and college students
- From Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood (ZIP codes 60623 and 60608)
- Pursuing a degree full-time in an accredited trade school, community or techincal college, pre-apprenticeship or apprenticeship program, one of the City Colleges of Chicago, or another four-year university in the United States
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
- Preference for students with professional career goals including: manufacturing, engineering, information technology, business, construction management, transportation, distribution, real estate, environmental sustainability, and logistics.
- Non-US citizens may apply for consideration.

Hilco Redevelopment Partners Scholarships will be awarded for two years each and funds may be applied toward education-related expenses including tuition, fees, books, and equipment. Recipients may be offered paid summer internships in the Chicago office.
