Scholarship Description

INI fellowships are merit-based and will be awarded during the admissions application review process. While students may indicate that they are interested in receiving a fellowship, there is no application process for this type of opportunity. Established in honor of the CEO of Alta Associates and founder of the Executive Women's Forum (EWF), the Joyce Brocaglia-EWF Endowed Fellowship in the Information Networking Institute (INI) seeks to provide support to INI graduate students who qualify for financial aid.

The Information Networking Institute (INI) partners with the Executive Women's Forum (EWF) to offer a full scholarship to an incoming INI student. Awardees, known as EWF-INI Fellows, receive a full scholarship and have the opportunity to be mentored by an EWF participant who is at a senior level in the information security field. Applicants must be admitted to an INI graduate program; have an accumulated GPA of at least 3.25 prior to entering Carnegie Mellon and maintain a minimum 3.25 GPA while at the INI; have no outstanding employment contract or obligation while attending Carnegie Mellon; show exemplary promise and potential; and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. INI fellowships are merit-based and will be awarded during the admissions application review process. The amounts will vary.
