The Mark Kilroy Foundation (MKF) has awarded scholarships for decades. Our MKF Scholarship Program serves sixteen high schools in Brazoria and Galveston Counties and the Salvation Army (SA), Adult Rehabilition Center (ARC), Houston, Texas serving numerous Texas counties. MKF Scholarships provides Texas trade or technical school and college scholarships for eligible Santa Fe, Alvin, Angleton, Arcadia, Ball, Brazosport, Brazoswood, Columbia, Danbury, Friendswood, Dickinson, Hitchcock, La Marque, Manvel, O'Connell, Sweeny and Texas City High School seniors, graduates and GEDs; and SA ARC beneficiaries and graduates.
Students must be enrolled and complete a minimum of 12 semester hours or agreed upon hours, and requirements for trade or technical schools; and maintain a grade point average (GPA) per semester of 2.5 or better based on a 4.0 grading system or agreed upon schedule. Our yearly spring and fall application deadlines are March 15th and November 15th.
