This is a $1,000 scholarship awarded to a student aspiring to pursue a post-graduate degree in aeronautic studies. This scholarship is based on Financial Need and Academic Merit. The applicant must be a U.S. Citizen who is an incoming or current graduate student pursuing a postgraduate degree in aeronautics at an accredited graduate college for the school year the scholarship is awarded.
Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or above (please submit a certified copy of the most recent academic comprehensive transcript) and must be a child of a Single Mother. Mother can be divorced, widowed, or unwed (be prepared to provide a copy of the mother's Federal Income Tax Return)
Applicant must have a letter of recommendation and must compose and submit a 500-word essay stating their academic and career goals and how these goals will make a positive contribution to the community. Failure to meet all of these requirements will result in an incomplete packet that will not be considered.
