  • The WMU Foundation is a Baptist missions foundation established in 1995 by national Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU) under the leadership of Dr. Dellanna O’Brien, former executive director of national WMU. The WMU Foundation offers a variety of opportunities, including financial aid for those who are pursuing mission work both in the U.S. and around the world. The WMU Foundation is its own 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. We are not involved in publishing materials or coordinating ministries of national WMU although we do financially support national WMU and their ministry partners.

I go to First Baptist Woodway Church, which is located in Waco, Texas. I’ve been Baptist my entire life and fully believe that Jesus died for my sins and that he is my Lord and Savior.

To whom concern My Name is NaQuan J Smith, wanting to attend College because my last year in High School wasn't expected the covid-19 came so I missed out on senior activities, senior prom, and my senior class trip. I thanks God for life. Me and Mom was talking one day and she asked me if you could get into College would I go and of course I said yes. I also wanted to try the national guard. I finally got accepted At EGSC and I'm starting Monday the 14th . I would be able to get a education, and become successful in the decision and plans I make. My mom always would say respect yourself and others, and that respect would take you were money can't. Giving back to a very important people in my life is always a priority to me. She gave so much of her love, time, energy, in making sure I put God first before her. Because without him I couldn't do nothing I can't even wake myself up. Most of all making my mother so proud of me, not that she's isn't , Mom neglects herself in order for me to have a better life, and being successful in doing so. Thanking yo in advance for your attend in this matter. NaQuan Smith

My family and I started a new Vision 2020 Foundation that takes backpacks and school supplies to kids in Mexico. God put that desired in my heart last month 12/19. A scholarship of any amount will blessed my life to keep preparing myself more for the Lord and be able to bless others.

Even if I didn't have the Oppubnity like other kids who get to go on a lot of missionary trips. I'm sure that one day I will create my own to the event to help those who are in need. Just this Scholarship will help me grow as a Child of God and will help me create something big in the future as a vision.

If you go to the website it looks like there are other scholarships available even if you're not a child of a missionary
