Women in Transition Scholarship

• Scholarship Description
• The Women In Transition scholarship was designed for women who have become the primary source of support for themselves and their families and wish to return to school to obtain a degree in accounting. This is available to incoming or current freshmen, and women returning to school with a freshman status who demonstrate financial need. This scholarship is renewable upon a 3.0 GPA. Applicants must be female US citizens attending accredited US schools pursuing an accounting degree.

  Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to the goal of pursuing a degree in accounting in preparation for a career as an accounting or finance professional, including evidence of continued commitment to this goal after receiving the award.
  In addition, an aptitude in accounting and business as evidenced by prior course work and/or work experience and clear evidence that goals and a plan for achieving those goals, both personal and professional, have been established.
