The Rae Lee Siporin Scholarship for Women will make awards to women who previously withdrew from their studies and are returning to complete their senior year in college/university. This program is intended to give women financial assistance to successfully complete their senior year and graduate after having taken a break(s) in their educational career. Preference will be given to women who have dropped out and are returning to finish their degree. One to two awards will be given annually.
To be eligible, applicants must: be a resident of New Mexico; have completed their freshman, sophomore and junior years of college; plan on attending a college or university in New Mexico; be able to demonstrate graduation within three semesters; be able to demonstrate financial need; submit an essay and official transcripts from every college attended; and not already have a bachelor’s degree.
