Scholarships are available to WA full-time undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need and the ability to complete their degree. It is AAUW Seattle’s preference that this scholarship be awarded to students who have an interest in achieving a more gender-equitable distribution of financial aid and thus, post-college debt.
Scholarship Details
- Available for full-time undergraduate students in Washington
- Based on financial need and commitment to degree completion
- Preference for those advocating for gender-equitable financial aid
Eligibility Criteria
- High school graduation in King County
- Acceptance or enrollment at a Washington public 4-year college/university or B.A.S. program at select colleges
- Minimum of 90 quarter or 60 semester college credits by the upcoming fall quarter
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or DACA recipient
