The College Scholars Program - which has now awarded scholarship to nearly 50 survivors - includes a cancer volunteer project of the student’s choice. Scholars receive support and mentorship from the Children’s Cancer Cause. Past scholarship winners have undertaken projects that include a community bone marrow drive, a podcast for other cancer survivors, and the formation of a campus cancer advocacy organization.
Scholarship Details
- The scholarships will range in value from $1,500 to $5,000
- As many as 25 scholarships to be awarded this year
- Created to support childhood cancer survivors
- Includes a volunteer project focused on cancer advocacy

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a childhood cancer survivor
- Enrolled or planning to enroll in a college or university for the coming fall semester
Application Process
- Complete the online scholarship application and submit with proof of childhood cancer diagnosis.
- Provide documentation of college enrollment.
- Outline a proposed cancer-related volunteer project.
- Applicant must be willing to participate in a cancer advocacy volunteer project
