The Don’t mess with Texas Scholarship contest recognizes the achievements of high school seniors who have taken a leadership role to prevent litter in their school and/or community. Any Texas high school senior (including homeschooled students) planning to pursue a two- or four-year degree at an accredited college or university for the Fall semester may apply.
Inspired by true Texas pride, we go to great lengths to keep our state litter-free with award-winning ads, statewide road tours, education programs, and contests. Whether the message appears on a billboards, your TV, or computer screen, we’re proud of our advertising. Not only has it successfully captured the Texan spirit and garnered exposure for the campaign, it’s also helped keep tons of litter off Texas roads.
