The University of Montana Western offers numerous scholarships. We have one application for all scholarships. The priority deadline is in January, though actual due dates are much later. The UMW Freshman Honor Scholarship is awarded to a freshman with a minimum 3.3 GPA, who is involved in extra-curricular activities and citizenship. There is not a speicifed deadline, but the priority due date is February 1st. Award amounts will vary.
The University of Montana Western Foundation exists to inspire generosity and connect donors with their passions in order to promote access and excellence in higher education at the University of Montana Western. The University of Montana Western Foundation is a non-profit, public 501 (c)(3) organization that advances the mission of the University of Montana Western by seeking and securing private support for its programs in service to students and society. Through our annual campaigns and initiatives, we help to provide for a margin of excellence that benefits students, faculty and the community.
